Overview of selected projects



A list of selected projects in consulting and executive education is provided below. Recent clients and partners include the European Commission, the OECD, the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, national ministries, private sector organisations as well as academic institutions, such as the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Executive education


Executive education training to staff of the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) in an executive programme titled: “Training in E-commerce for Bank Staff”, organised by the IADB and LSE (2020).


Executive education training to international trade advisors of the UK Department of International Trade (DIT) in an executive programme titled: “Assessing the Current Trade Outlook” focusing on opportunities and challenges in the digital economy, organised by the UK DIT and LSE (2019).




Capacity building


Capacity building for the implementation of the EU-CARIFORUM Economic Partnership Agreement for the European Commission (EuropeAid) assisting the setup and organisation of the capacity building programme for weeklong course sessions for policy makers as well as for the setup of a Master's level course in public procurement in the Caribbean region (2017).




OECD commissioned projects


OECD Trade Policy Paper for the OECD Trade and Agriculture Directorate (TAD) analysing the value of services commitments in a variety of regional trade agreements (RTAs) that was presented to the Working Party of the Trade Committee (2018).


Based on the study, a journal article was published in The World Economy (2020).

On EU trade and investment policy


Study for the European Commission assessing options to facilitate EU SMEs’ access to investment dispute settlement mechanisms under EU agreements with third countries, Policy Support Facility for the Implementation of EU Foreign Policy (2022).

 

Contributed to the setup and content of the official Access2Markets portal for the European Commission for over two years, including drafting of website content and design of website tools in close coordination with DG Trade (2021).


Sustainability Impact Assessment (SIA) for the European Commission in support of negotiations with partner countries in Eastern and Southern Africa (ESA) in view of deepening the existing interim Economic Partnership Agreement (2021).
